Carnival news.
The Scout Group have run the carnival now for about 20 years having taken over from a small commitee from the village that were finding it too much work for a small commitee of three.
Thank you to everyone that attended or helped at the Riverhead carnival this year.
The weather was not as kind to us as it has been in the past but we still had a very good turn out with over 75 stalls. The stalls as usual were a mix of local organisations and charities as well as commercial providers.
The entertainment was provided by Huabaloo road show.
The Group raised around £3,000 which goes to help run the group.
And we hope that all the other stalls had a good afternoon.
Next years carnival will be on 18th September 2011. Details for next year will appear under the Fund Raising section on the side bar.
Once again a big THANK YOU to all that attended or had a stall.
