Evolutions indoor climbing centre - 05-12-2008

Friday 5th December saw Lambarde Scout Troop and guests from both cub packs  descend on Evolutions Indoor Climbing Centre for a fun packed Troop evening. This centre is a fantastic venue that offers safe climbing for all levels of experience ranging from low level bouldering to horizontal overhangs !!!

The group was split into teams. Whislt one team tackled the rope assisted climbs under the tuition of one of the centres instrutors, the rest of the group were let loose on the bouldering section. This area has very thick crash mat floor allowing the walls to become a free-for-all climbing playground for the Scouts. Everyone had a great time and put a lot of effort into completing the climbs and after two hours they all left happy but shattered!!!
