With 200 families who are members of the 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout Group this could be a huge boost for us.

Friday 25th Feb and seven Troops from the Sevenoaks District took part in the District Scout Swimming Gala.

After a break of 5 years the gala held at Combe Bank School went off very well.

The usual mix of free style, backstroke , breaststroke and relay races together with the long plunge.

Teams comprised Scouts of all ages from 10 - 14 and the races were divided into under 12s and over 12.

The team from 3rd Sevenoaks (Riverhead and Dunton Green) did well and came 1st with 65 points beating the 2nd place. 16th Ide Hill by 35 points.

Thanks and well done to Ali, Adam, Matt, Tom, Hannah, Ewan and Jon who comprised the winning team.
