3rd Scouts Clean Up - 08-06-2007
Ok, well maybe not the Scouts...
3rd Sevenoaks Scout HQ today receieved a professional spring clean from cleaning company, Merry Maids. The eight strong, cleaning team spent the morning deep cleaning the hut, refreshing the oven, washing the floors and descaling the loos. No bench was left unturned and the spiders were given their marching orders. The end result was a sparkling HQ for the Summer Term.
The clean was won as a prize by Simon, an Assistant Scout Leader in a competition from Vileda. Both Vileda and Merry Maids agreed to transfer the prize to the Scout Hut and met the increased project cost above the original prize value.
At the end of the clean Simon presented the cleaning team with an honary Cub 'Home Help' badge.
