The Giving Machine

The 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout group is raising funds through 'The Giving Machine' Website.

HOW IT WORKS....

  1. Click on the link above

  2. Select the big purple JOIN button

  3. Choose 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green as your chosen charirty (currently this will be under the 'joined in the last 30 days section')

  4. Add 'The Giving Machine' site to your favourites or download their toolbar

  5. Lastly, Every time you are going to purchase an item online - go through 'The giving machine' link for the 3rd Scout Group to benefit from your purchase.

With 200 families who are members of the 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout Group this could be a huge boost for us.

 

 

 

 

Riverhead Carnival - 20-09-2009

Riverhead Carnival (Fair and procession) -Sunday 20th September 2009 

Village carnival organised by the Scout Group. Held at Chipstead Common, Witches Lane. Starts 12:30 and ends about 4:30pm

Attracts around 4,500 people.  Entrance free.  This year's theme is "Heroes and Heroines".  There will be a fancy dress competiton with prizes for best costume (2 categories under 7 and over 7).

Arena events - announced by the Hullaballoo Roadshow .These will include a magician, dance displays,  games and choir.

RSPCA dog show in separate arena - all dogs are welcome to take part (not only rescue dogs) ((for categories see below)

3RD SEVENOAKS SCOUTS PARENTS

Please sign up on the list in the Scout hut to help run one of the Scouts fundraising stalls as soon as possible, alternatively ring Sue Arnold on 451966.

Please book early as we are often over suscribed.  

Please note:  refreshments stalls and Usborne books/Phoenix are already allocated.

RSPCA DOG SHOW starts 1.30pm -  £1 per category entry

8.  Judges' favourite
