Come and camp at our headquarters. We have a large field with a wooded area for open fires. HQ building available for wet weather or pack holidays.

Sorry we can only let Scouting / guiding groups use the facilities.

Due to the increase in the size of our Group and section meetings we have to limit the amount of times that we book the camping area out so please contact us early to avoid disappointment in busy months.

Camping at Sevenoaks in Kent

The 3rd Sevenoaks Scout Groups HQ is situated just off the A25.

The HQ is a heated building with kitchen, Scouters room and toilets. This can be hired for use should the sun not shine for you during your camp.

The field is flat and enclosed by trees making it a fairly secluded site. The bottom and one side of the field is adjoined by a wooded area, ideal for firelighting, shelter building, wide games, camp fires, string trails. Within the wooded area there are 2 small areas suitable for Patrol camps.

2012 has seen the start of our refurbishment projects and we are pleased to say that the first area to get a make over has been the toilets. We  have male, female and a disabled toilets as well as the introduction of a shower room. This area also now has full central heating. We also have a new area known as the lounge which is in this area and can be used as a leaders sleeping room our just as an additional area for group work. The next project is to replace the ceiling panels and a re paint of the main HQ and we hope this will be done over the 2014 Easter holidays.

On-site activities

For a small additional charge we can offer indoor games for hire such as Kurling and snooker as well as giant Jenga. We can also offer outdoor team building games, use of our assault course and laser tag.
