  2. Select the big purple JOIN button

  3. Choose 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green as your chosen charirty (currently this will be under the 'joined in the last 30 days section')

  4. Add 'The Giving Machine' site to your favourites or download their toolbar

  5. Lastly, Every time you are going to purchase an item online - go through 'The giving machine' link for the 3rd Scout Group to benefit from your purchase.

Scout uniform

The Scout Uniform should always be clean, ironed and presentable. The belt buckle needs to be polished regularly. When the inevitable happens and your record book (kept in the uniform shirt pocket) goes through the wash, pop down to the Scout shop and replace it!

Uniform should be worn down to all Scout meetings (except in the Summer holidays) unless told otherwise. Your own personal activity kit should also be brought down to change into.

Uniform checklist

  • Navy blue Scout activity trousers or activity shorts
  • Scout leather belt
  • Teal Green Scout shirt. and a Teal Green polo shirt.
  • Group neckerchief and woggle
  • Clean trainers
  • Scout record book

In addition you will need a group tshirt (compulsory) and sweatshirt (optional) which are available from the 3rd Group HQ.

Optional items

  • Scout fleece
