Riverhead Carnival

Sunday 15th September 2024 

And that's a wrap for another year! Thank you for helping us raise an incredible £7,500!

The sun shone down on us, and hundreds of families from across the area enjoyed a whole host of fun activities, refreshments and entertainment including:

• BBQ and beer tent (including Pimms, ale, Prosecco and craft gin) run by 3rd Sevenoaks Scouts
• Inflatables
• Live toe-tapping music from the Biggin Hillbillies 
• DJ
• Dog show
• Arena displays including the fabulous Lightning Gymnastics team
• Egg-throwing competition
• Bric-a-brac
• Ice cream and candy floss
• Market stalls

This year’s Carnival raised over £7,500, all due to the generosity of our supporters and visitors. You have helped us to fund another year of Scouting fun and games for around 200 young people in the Sevenoaks area. The money also goes towards building and grounds maintenance at our Scout Hut and replacing worn-out equipment. Thank you so very much.

We would like to thank our amazing supporters this year: The Bullfinch, Cottage Farm Butchers, Fairseat Farm, Frank's Barbers, The King's Head pub, Sevenoaks Animal Feeds and Spot Vehicle Hire. We really appreciate your generous donations and support to help us make the Riverhead Carnival such a success.
