Scouting during covid 19

Thanks to the incredible dedicated leaders and young people the Group is still being very active during this time . Many Cubs and Scouts have been completing challenges such as the County Mayhem challenge . Sleeping outside or making dens inside , cooking , learning friendship knots , laying trails and tidying up after their adventures .

Lots of exciting and fun challenges and on line meetings have been held with most sections  meeting every week with Zoom calls or sending out challenges for the young people to do.

So Scouting in Riverhead is still very much alive and well albeit not as we would like face to face.
