Troop code of conduct

The following is the code of conduct that has been worked out  by the Scouts and agreed by the  Troop ad was revised in December 2019 

•  Code of conduct
  
  • Participate in as much as you can
  • A Scout should treat everyone with respect and kindness. Treat people the way you would like to be treated.
  • A Scout should attend all Scout meetings unless they have a legitimate reason not to, if you don't attend 4 meetings in a row without notifying a leader your place could be lost
  • Every Scout attends at least two parades per year
  • A Scouts should take pride in their uniform and dress smartly
  • A Scout should let a leader or PL know if they are unhappy
  • Be ready for anything
  • Celebrate difference e.g. Difference religions, LGBTQ+
  • Be considerate of the younger members of the Troop --- No bad language
  • Turn off mobile phones during time with the troop
  • Listen to instructions otherwise you will miss quality information
  • Look after Scout equipment
