The Giving Machine

The 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout group is raising funds through 'The Giving Machine' Website.

HOW IT WORKS....

  1. Click on the link above

  2. Select the big purple JOIN button

  3. Choose 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green as your chosen charirty (currently this will be under the 'joined in the last 30 days section')

  4. Add 'The Giving Machine' site to your favourites or download their toolbar

  5. Lastly, Every time you are going to purchase an item online - go through 'The giving machine' link for the 3rd Scout Group to benefit from your purchase.

With 200 families who are members of the 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout Group this could be a huge boost for us.

 

 

 

 

Is this the 1st Investiture of 2009 - 01-01-2009

At the first chime of Big Ben at midnight on 31st December we started to invest Mark into the Scout Troop. With the chimes in the background all those present at the New Years camp all joined Mark in making / reafirming their Scout Promise . The investiture finished just after the last chime . So was this the 1st New Scout in the UK for 2009 ?
