The Giving Machine

The 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout group is raising funds through 'The Giving Machine' Website.

HOW IT WORKS....

  1. Click on the link above

  2. Select the big purple JOIN button

  3. Choose 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green as your chosen charirty (currently this will be under the 'joined in the last 30 days section')

  4. Add 'The Giving Machine' site to your favourites or download their toolbar

  5. Lastly, Every time you are going to purchase an item online - go through 'The giving machine' link for the 3rd Scout Group to benefit from your purchase.

With 200 families who are members of the 3rd Riverhead and Dunton Green Scout Group this could be a huge boost for us.

 

 

 

 

Troop code of conduct

The following is the code of conduct that has been agreed by the Scout Troop

  • Attend all Scout meetings unless ill or away.
  • Take part in at least one of the 2 Group Church parades.
  • Take part in the District St Georges Day parade in April.
  • Attend at least two Scouting events outside of the normal Troop meeting during the year.
  • Help with at least one fund raising activities.
  • Look after your own and Group equipment.
  • Wear uniform with pride and smartly.
  • Turn off mobile phones during meetings
  • Listen to instructions given by Leaders or Patrol Leaders
  • Treat everyone with respect
  • Enjoy your Scouting.
  • Let the PL know if they have ideas for activities for the Troop.
  • Let your PL or Scouter know if you are unable to attend. If you do not attend four meetings in a row without letting us know we will have to assume that we can offer your place to someone else.
  • To let a Scouter know if you are unhappy with anything within the Troop.
