Fundraising
Scout groups rely on fundraising activities and subs to generate income and fund the activities enjoyed by children of all ages. We also face significant overhead costs to maintain our ageing Scout Hut building and keep the grounds safe. We don't receive any external funding, so our fundraising events are critical to us.
All the work in the Group is voluntary, meaning that all the leaders, committee members and supporters give their precious time for free.
3rd Sevenoaks Scout Group holds two major fundraising events every year, along with our annual active kids collection.
